Oct 2009 – Lanier Australia enters the Around the Bay in a Day bike race

Around the Bay in a Day enables all bike riders to participate in Australia's largest single day bike ride and meet the challenge of riding around Port Phillip Bay.

The day was a huge success, with thousands of riders entering the fantastic Alexandra Gardens start/finish site where live music, entertainment, roving entertainers, corporate hospitality, food and beverage facilities, and sponsor displays and giveaways provided a fantastic end to a great ride. Lanier entered a team that rode over 210 kilometres in 7 hours.

The Smith Family has hit a new fundraising record for Around the Bay in a Day pushing through the $700,000 mark.
